I was invited to go mushroom gathering outside of Oslo this morning, so I decided to bring my camera with a macro lens. I didn’t gather any myself, but we found tons of this funnel chanterelle (Craterellus tubaeformis) which is very edible.

There have been a few in Norway recently with people mistaking the funnel chanterelle with the deadly webcap (Cortinarius rubellus)as they look similar in color and size. But I definitely want to do more gathering of mushroom, and also other plants and berries that can be found in the forest.
