I created a gallery with 60+ beach volleyball photos I’ve taken for Oslo Sandvolleyballklubb yesterday. While going through old hard drives to select the good ones, I came across this goodie from 2019 of Anders Mol (playing with Nils Ringøen, out of frame, instead of his regular partner Christian Sørum) smashing against the young Swedes David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig who five years later would end up winning the gold medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics in a dominant fashion. (Christian Sørum also played this tournament, but partnered up with Anders’ younger brother Markus Mol.)
